Welcome
Welcome to the Church of the Holy Family. Whether you are:
- familiar with Anglican worship and tradition
- curious about Christian faith and life
- a spiritual “seeker”
I invite you to join us at Holy Family, where you’ll find a warm, welcoming, culturally diverse community that is committed to living and sharing the Good News of Jesus. You’ll find people of all ages and stages in their spiritual journeys. I hope that through our worship and fellowship you will encounter the living God, who desires that we have “life in all its abundance.”
Come up and say hello this Sunday, or drop me an email, I’d love to meet you!
Rev. Julie
Come and See
When you arrive… a greeter will welcome you. You will get a copy of the order of service. We use a blue hymn book and a green prayer book. Sit wherever you like, and follow along with everybody. The best way to learn is to experience the service. Wear whatever is comfortable.
During the service… we pray, we sing, we listen, we offer one another the peace of Christ, we receive the bread and the wine.
If you have small children… you are welcome to keep them with you. We also have a nursery beside the worship space so you can still hear the service if your babies or little ones need more attention.
If you have school-age children… there is a children’s chat near the beginning of the service. Then they go downstairs to “Churchkids” and come back up when it’s time for Holy Communion.
If you are baptized… you may receive Holy Communion. If you’re not yet baptized, you may come up and cross your arms to receive a blessing from the priest.
After the service… we have refreshments and a social time.
Go in peace with God’s blessing
